Katie Hunter is the Admissions & Development Coordinator at Ermitage International School of France where she has worked since 2009. Founded in 1941, Ermitage is a bilingual K-12 day and boarding school located 20km west of Paris offering a variety of programs which differ in regards to language, philosophy and price. Of the 1260 students representing over 50 nationalities, 150 are enrolled in the private International Studies Program (MYP/IBDP) and rely on ManageBac and OpenApply solutions. With degrees in marketing and management from Ithaca College, New York, Katie benefited from experiential learning at university, where she led student admissions efforts as an undergrad. After being the Marketing Manager for a green-building consultancy in Manhattan, Katie moved to France and discovered her passion for international education while helping to position Ermitage in the global market. Previously a predominantly French school, Katie has helped Ermitage communicate its now flourishing 7-year International Studies Program on a global scale by unifying the school's various sections under one image with a strong online presence and clear student voice.
